I have owned this camera for a few years now and I think all of the features and quality are the best around. The newer Sony hi8 cameras dont even have this many features!

This camcorder is wonderful, anyone who buys it will love it Im sure. Your fingers soon become familiar to the controls.It is also a good price for its great quality. I highly reccomend this to anyone who is just starting Filming.

Without comparison, this camcorder won hands-down. I dont like LCD screens anyway since Im used to 35mm format, so the color viewfinder won out over the more costly LCD easily. The camera is lightweight and handles like a camera. The special effects are amazing! The quality of the Sony is way better than other brands, in my opinion, from the ergonomics to the menu displays and ease of use. The only drawback is that image stabilization isnt included on this model, but a tripod takes care of that problem, especially filming long zooms. The Nightshot feature is amazing and gives good results. Sony definitely is the leader and this model is more than enough for my needs!
