Hi Everyone, I believe that this is a good cam corder but recently I bought Sony DCR-TRV 120. It is year 2000 model and has got all the features normally you find them in Sony camcorder, plus it has got 45x/450X zoom and I got it for 650$. Very good deal. Picture quality is amazing. 21/2 " screen is kinda small but still it works fine. In short check out this camara before you go for any other model.

Ive had my camcorder for 2 1/2 weeks now and LOVE IT! Has lots of features but yet simple to operate. Great picture and I think the nightshot feature is cool. Cant go wrong on this one!

This camcorder is packed with features including the stabilizer and a color LCD screen, and it is amazingly easy to use. I learned how to use all of its features in under an hour. What I am most impressed with about this camcorder is the picture quality. Compared with other Hi-8, 8mm, & VHS-C camcorders in the store, this model has the best picture quality, comparable to a digital camcorder. At home, I have filmed under the worst lighting conditions, and all of my home videos always turn out beautifully. I highly recommend this model and all other Sony models.

Sony put all the goodies on this little gem. The image stabalization and the color LCD are two things you cant do without. Picture quality is amazing and so is the 330x zoom. This thing does everything but sing and dance. It is simple to use and menu driven for the most part. For serious home or family applications, I would pick this one every time. The video is professional looking without the professional price. Unless you have your heart set on digital, buy this one. Try one and you will see what I mean.
