I had been using a pair of Acoustic Research 2-Way Towers for my Front speakers and then I found a pair of used N-38s and I moved my ARs to Rear Surrounds and replaced them with the JBLs. I am sure GLAD that I made this move - these Speakers are what I had wanted and expected - QUALITY Sound, the Sound Spectrum, you hear it ALL, highs, mids, and lows [helps to have powered sub too]. WALA - my Home Theater just stepped UP a notch or two!

I was looking at the price of floor standing speakers, the JBL Northridge N38s in particular and I noticed that you claim to sell for $199.99 as opposed to a list price of $230+ . I checked out Bestbuy and Ciruit city web sites and they sell for the exact same price at both these locations. So whos list price are you underselling? Also, if I was to buy from you, Id pay the same cost, a hefty shipping fee and have to wait 4-10 days for delivery. If I buy from the others, I get instant delivery and zero shipping costs. So what is the advantage of buying from Amazon? Just curious.

These speakers have awesome sound for the price. The bass is fabulous. If you want good to great sound these speakers are your choice, if you want great-CRAZY sound, then the Studio Series by JBL is your choice. Be warned, the Studio Series is almost twice as much. . .
