I had this camera for a long time and never had a problem with it. Battery still holds full charge, almost everything still works great. Recently, the tape slow wont close, so I couldnt use it anymore. I was so imnpressed with the problem free camera, that I bought my wife (and me) the same style, but newer model camera! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because of the tape slot

I recieved this camera as a gift and used it 6 times before the amplifier went out, so that when you were watching your videos-you got sound, but no picture. This happened with our first camera, but you could see the video but there was no sound-also the amplifier. Unfortunatly it didnt fall under warranty so we have a broken camera lying around and must buy a new one. I give it three stars because for the time that I was able to use it, it was a great camera. If you do decide to buy this one-maybe think about an extended warranty?

I received the "HandyCam" for Christmas,wow!,Im Very impressed.Ive looked at many,this is more than I couldve hoped for.The Options,like "title",fading,special effects are Great!,& Sooo Many!. Thanks Mom & Dad! *wink*

I just used this camcorder after my son came home with it and I am impressed. Ease of use, picture quality,sound and lightweight.All 5 stars in my book. Priced right for the working stiff also. Nightshot feature is great. Im on my way out to "grab hold of one" now.

I purchased this because I was missing my daughters Christmas pageant. My wife had it down in minutes, the pictures were great. I bought it at circuit city. I could have gone on line at Circuit Citys website bought at the same price and received a free tote bag and tripod with a website coupon.

I think that this product blows the other products out of the water. This product is very easy to operate and handle. It is good for filming movies or for school projects like taping a play for extra credit.

This camera is very cheap (less than 400 bucks, I bought one here in L.A. and it was made in China) but the quality and performace is very good! I recommend this product to those person looking for a cheap camcorder but the quality/performace is very good.
