OH MY GOODNESS. What power, what sound, what ease of use. I have four of these for 4, 500 watt Jensen PowerStation JP1500 speakers. What I wanted was to create an experience in my basement home theater that would rival every time I went and saw U2 in concert, and now when I plug in that DVD of whatever concert of theirs I wish, I am there again. I did not have a RCA out for my front speakers on my receiver, but on my Toshiba HD DVD player there was a right and left front port that I used to jump over to these amps to fuel my monoliths. Not only that, but if you ever want to rumble the house, put some big speakers along with a couple 15 inch Cerwin Vega subwoofers and add to that Star Trek First Contact on DVD--theres a lot of testosterone flying once the movie gets to going and you will not be disappointed with these amps as part of that experience. They stay cool, they play hard, and yet the sound is phenomenal. For the money, you could pay a lot more for something "pretty" and with more gadgets (which usually break down, which is why you find them on Ebay), but here is something pure and simple, which is almost always good. By the way, you wont find these used on Ebay, they simply dont break down and no one wants to get rid of theirs that I can find. I have been looking for months and I finally gave up. Amazons price with shipping paid is one of the best also. On: 2007-10-31

I purchased two of these amps to power my pair of MTX speakers. The result is amazing. My power is double what my receiver was putting out and the distortion is even less. In other words, extremely crisp, clear, loud sound. The sleek design of the amp makes it even better, with no big knobs or bright flashing lights. The seting up was very easy as well with clear labels for all the inputs and outputs. For anyone who wants to boost the power of their system and not worry about all the technical aspects, this type of amp is for you. On: 2005-11-28
I bought two of these to power my Bose 901 Series VI speakers. The pre-amp is also an Audiosource item. Although these amps are rated the same as the Kenwood system they replace, the sound is cleaner and much louder than before. They are, however, absent of a few features many have come to expect from audio products of late, including headphone jacks (each amp has one 1/4" mono headphone jack) remote control, and surround sound.
In my situation, these amps are perfect. I wanted another amplifier/pre-amp setup, but I didnt want to get rid of my speakers, which require a processor loop. I didnt need a tuner, and I have plenty of room for amplifiers and speakers. As a result of buying this set-up, I now have what must surely be the most powerful and best-sounding iPod dock in the world. If you are willing to stand up to adjust the sound or turn the equipment on or off, youll likely be pleased with a couple of Audiosource amplifiers.
