I decided to purchase the item after reading the reviews. I was thinking that the all issues should be solved by now since many people complained. NO! They are NOT solved. The glass door was still broken and the surfaces were still scratched. Also, the wrapping box was broken and the glass fell out and cut my husband. Until Target solves the delivery issue, dont purchase this item.

We were excited to receive this media center, but after we opened the box we went from happy to really sad and angry.
Before we ordered it, we read the above comment on this item, but didnt really believe that something like that would happen to us, but it did.
First we thought that the media center was used, there were scratches on every flat surface, both of the glass doors were broken and the holes for screws were far from precise.
We think that the reason for such damage is the fact that the contents are packed in the box very loosely with only one piece of plastic wrapping all of them. This lets the parts slide around freely, scratching each other.
We really dont recommend purchasing this item if you want a good looking media center.
