We have been using this model for a couple of years now and have had no problems with it. The picture is great - although our older tapes only display the quality left in them, but new media has a great picture.
My main complaint is that Ive misplaced the manual during a move and cant find one online. If you know where theyre posted, please submit a review with the website!

Its hard to believe, but were living in a time where we need both a DVD player and a VCR. We need a DVD player for all the picture-perfect movies available for purchase, and we need a VCR because video stores mainly have tapes for you to rent. With this set, you get the best of both worlds so you can be happy with whichever way you decide to watch a movie. You really cant complain about this product.
