Initially the tv was ok. The picture and resolution were decent. The TV comes with a one year warranty. Im 18 months in and the panel has apparently blown leaving me with a permanent black bar through the middle of the screen. Whats worse is Gateway is aware of this problem yet offers no solution and no support. The tv has been rendered worthless and Im now shopping for a new (non-Gateway) model.

I got this tv last week and i am pretty happy about it. It has nice cool features but its a bit expensive as this technology is still evolving. I bought this a little cheap by getting a 5% cashback through www.perfectrebates.com. These people gave me 5% as a cashback. So it turned out to be a good deal for me.
