Amazing detail and features     On: 2007-12-21

A must for a Dell Axim, it makes purchase of one worthwhile, despite the alternate units (cell phone/pda combos) available. A real kick to have in the car, but with Axim, you need to have pretty good hearing to discern the verbal directions. Nice color maps; it has continually surprised with its versatility and utility.

Very user friendly     On: 2005-07-18

I always regreted not getting a navigation system for my car.
Well I own a Dell AXIM 30 and saw this Pharos unit, I figured the price was right. The unit is pretty user friendly the only problem is getting lock through the windshield, I got around this by placing the patch antenna between my moonroof and the inner cover (to hold it in place).

I made two trips this weekend in excess of 100 miles each way, these trips were to familier destinations. The unit was fairly flawless, when getting close to the destination the unit told me to go in a direction that was slightly longer, I deviated from the units directions and went my own way. The unit told me I was off course and kept offering alternate routing.

All in all I would buy this unit again.
