Ive bought my DAV-BC250 home theater earlier this year along with my 51" Sony KP-51WS520 and have been nothing but pleased with it ever since. My wife and I used to go out to movies at least once a week but with the above mentioned combo have since stopped going to movies almost all together. This surround sound home theater recreates the movie theater experience quite well both visually (progressive scan) and audibly.
The only complaint I have with the system is that it only has one set of audio inputs. These are currently tied up with the audio from my television, it would be nice to be able to have my Apple Airport Express feed streaming audio into it as well.

I purchased the Sony DAV-BC250 5-Disc DVD Home Theater as my first home theater system, and I would definitely recommend it. Setup is easy, and Sony always makes a reliable product. It has component video outputs, which really helps the video quality (if your TV has component video inputs, of course). Surround sound is very good.
