I started using Packet8 recently and the call quality
is the absolute worst - there would be long hold ups, busy tones, etc. I spoke to their tech support who
tried to fix it but the didnt.
I was recommended this service by my sister in a different
area using different equipment, with the same lousy service.
When I called to cancel the service, they charged me $60 to get rid of the service because I exceeded the 30-day return-limit.
I pointed out that I tried to get the problem fixed with their
support and hence had passed the 30-day limit, but 2 different customer service reps could do nothing about it. When I
tried asking for their supervisor, they basically said the
supervisor is busy and might or might not call me back.
After several futile tries on different days with the same response each time, I basically
got sick of it and just paid the $60 to get rid of this.
Absolutely WORST customer service which you need because
of VERY bad call quality makes this something you should
stay CLEAR of.
