This is a very good speaker for the money. I looked at Best Buy and still would pick these!

I have been running this speaker as my center channel for about one month now, and have been very impressed. The unit is very well made and fitting it is a breeze. Some others have commented about the color, which is strange in a speaker review, but the off white suits our decor fine anyway.
The overall performance of the speakers is great for the price range. It is extremely clear and crisp for vocal and higher frequencies yet it can also deliver rich deep tones.
If you are looking for a good center channel speaker in this price range I can highly recommend this JBL.

Does not match color of other off white JBL speekers

I ordered this as a center channel speaker and purchased HTI-6C round speakers for the fronts. Beware if you do this as they are not the same color. This speaker is slightly darker. The manual says they are paintable, but I dont want to risk it, especially doing the grills, so I am living with it for now. Those who obscess over such things, FTI. Other wise, the sound out of them and installation was great. Pass on the rough-ins though. It only takes 5 minutes to cut the hole and install.
