I purchased this amped sub for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee and have been greatly surprised. I figured the sub would give me a little bass to make up for my Alpine 5 1/4s that sound great, but lack bass. In fact the sub set up easily and was much more than bass than I needed. I have the amp gain down to about 1/4 and am still getting a great sound!

Incredible!! Bazooka has come up with a winning active (powered) or passive subwofer for us people who arent into car audio competition or jiggling the license plate bolts out of the back of our cars. In other words, a sub for us "in betweens." I love the response from these and the fact that I can wedge them just about anywhere in my cars or trucks makes them especially appealing. I have bought three of them so far. One in the back of a pick up I own, the other in the back of a 2000 Camaro B4C and the other, the third in the back of my 1999 Toyota 4 Runner. This one is under the cargo cover, hidden from prying eyes.
These Bazooka subs are an awesome piece for the price. Truly a prize winning sub for us "other people."
