Ive had these for a while now and they have been very good. The subwoofer seems to have developed a touchy RCA connection, but thats probably my fault with the way it has been positioned by a wall. On: 2006-08-14
What could be better than quality sound from a major audio brand name. These speakers offer plenty of sound, clean sound, and can take lots of power from a high power reciever. These speakers can take between 10-80 watts based on the HK fact sheet, and the sub is 100 watts, powered, 10 inches, which plugs into its own electrical outlet. The speakers are sleak, not too large in terms of the satelites, but the sub is larger than it looks in the photo. This is not going to fit NEXT to your TV as the smaller HTIB system subs might, it needs its own corner of the room.
High quality, and when connected to an HK AVR reciever, it works like a charm. I have it connected to the AVR 240, and once again amazon provided great prices on both.
enjoy! On: 2006-06-07
I have never bought Home Theater Speakers before so my opinion might not matter much. These speakers sound very crisp and clear. The subwoofer that comes with this system has a lot of bass and rattles the whole house. The wall mounts are perfect but I upgraded my speaker wire to 12 gauge and I had difficulty getting the wire through the wall mounts. Other than that the speakers are excellent. If your live with someone, be prepared for them to complain that the speakers are to loud On: 2006-06-06

I bought this system because I have a H/K 235 receiver which I love and I am on a budget. Overall, this system is very crisp compared to most satellite systems Ive heard. The subwoofer is also excellent, producing booming sound for most users. If youre set on a satellite system, this is very good system worth your consideration - likely much better than most of the mass-market brands (Sony, Panasonic, etc).
