I moved up to this camera from a Fuji Finepix 2.1 MP camera that I had for a year. Was very happy with the old one, but wanted to be able to do enlargments. Gave the old one to the kids and bought an E550. It takes great pictures and has lots of manual features that even a relatively novice photographer like me can figure out. The only complaint I have is that you have to manually click open the flash or it will take the picture without it.
