electrical connection only works sometimes     On: 2006-07-25

Now I have to buy a whole new kit because I dont want to deal with Audiovox to get this one fixed and I dont want to have to buy a whole new receiver and kit for the car. Oh well. Theyre going to get another 50 of my dollars. Sirius does rock, though.
Sirius Home Kit     On: 2006-07-11

Works great! We were tired of switching the dock from inside the house to the patio everytime we wanted to spend time outside. Now we have music wherever we go!
Radio & Kit: Great, FM Strength: Not so great     On: 2006-04-16

I got my HK3 Home Kit for PNP3 a week or two ago and it was easier setting it up than it was in the car. I have my antenna sitting on my front yard (I cut a small hole in the bug screen in the window) and I plugged the RF cable in the front of the TV. In between, my satellite radio. Unfortunately if I want to go upstairs and want to listen to this, I get good signal from the radio if I hold my clock radio broadcasting from the satellite radio, but if I put it down or walk away from it, it just goes to static. I really hope that Audiovox makes a PNP4 with a better FM strength.
great seller     On: 2006-03-26

this is a great radio, the only downside is there is no fm, other than that its great
Awesome product!     On: 2006-03-15

This helps my Sirius addiction in that I get to carry my receiver to my home stereo and listen there instead of just in the boombox (which is more cumbersome to transport than you may think).

I love it.
Finally In Stock     On: 2006-03-04

I was searching for this item since Christmas 2005. I had the Sirius PNP3, but could not listen at work. A month later, Amazon finally had it in stock. The dock is extremely effective. The antenna works great, even on the 14th floor of a highrise. The dock is very easy to set-up and use. I recommend this product highly.
Audiovox - Serrius Satelite Receiver     On: 2006-02-27

This unit is only applicable for a car and Audivox does not support it and I could not get a home adapter kit for it. So I had to buy a JVC unit and since it was opened, I could not return it
Great product!     On: 2006-02-25

Bought this to basically listen to Sirius at work but didnt want to have a big boom box on my desk. I get great reception and I am not even near a window. Easy to set up, and I listen to it through a radio on my desk.. fm reception.
Antenna is worthless     On: 2006-02-22

Dont bother purchasing this unless you plan on replacing the antenna. I live on a 3rd story apartment building luckily facing east where there is a bunch of trees. I get spotty reception that drives be insane. So I bought the Terk SIR6 Outdoor Home Antenna (which you can find here too) and Im hoping it will improve the reception
Great accessory for Sirius Satellite Radio     On: 2006-01-29

I received an Audiovox Sirius SIR-PNP3 Radio with Car Kit for Christmas and wanted to get the home kit to be able to listen both at home and in the car with little hassle. I had a difficult time locating the home kit anywhere except at Amazon where it was also reasonably priced with free shipping. It arrived as promised and works very well with plenty of length on the antenna wire to get the best reception. I am very pleased with this product.
Very pleased so far..     On: 2006-01-17

Did some initial research, chose this model based on other reviews. Shuttle this unit between my office and home, seems to be holding up ok. At the office I have the boom box set up, and at home have a docking cradle and have it connected to my home stereo system. That way, as an auxilary input, I can use my cassette recorder and tape content I may like to keep. Sound is clear and good, mostly just going back and forth between comedy channels and Howard Stern stuff. Mostly very pleased with this purchase...here in LA reception is fine. Setting it up with the fm modulator, I have been able to send the signal to other fm radios set to the same unused frequency to hear satellite broadcasts away from the unit. Distance only 15-20 ft, which I am working on. May wire the house so I have speakers throughout so I can hear it in every room. What? Yea, I know...
