We purchased this tv right after the Christmas holiday. We didint know much about plasma, but knew we did not want to replace our burned out rear projection witht he same type. We also didnt have a ton of money, so we looked at this model on sale at a local electronics store. We purchased, had the tv mounted to the wall and we were watching within a few hours. This tv has a beautiful picture, we purchased some higher end cables to clarify the picture from our dvd player, and we are in love with movies on this tv. If you dont want to spend the money for high definition, and want to enter the field of plasma without breaking the family budget, we strongly recommend this tv to get you started!
