I looked and listened to several sets of outdoor speakers for a new home we purchased in the spring. It has a large outdoor "livingroom" over an even larger patio which is off the walkout basement. I wanted speakers that could produce solid midrange vocals and still deliver an OK bass response without a subwoofer. The BA V7s provided the best acoustics for vocals with natural sounding bass in a large outdoor environment out of the several speakers I tested. The BA V6s were a better value, but I am glad I spent the extra dollars for the superior quality sounding speakers.
