We have owned the television for two years now. It has been in the shop three times (gone for two weeks at a time) and had in home service five times. The picture quality is very good, however, we have had mulitple problems. The light engine has been replaced three times. This part costs $1800 to replace. Although it is covered by the warrenty for the first year, you will have to extend the warrenty every year to get this covered. In addition, the bulb has had to be replaced three times in two years. The bulbs are not covered by the warrenty, nor the extended warrenty and will run about $500 each time you replace it. Owning this television has been nothing but a problem! Please choose an alternet set and save your self the stress!
