I damaged my existing receiver by accident and needed a replacement. Something not expensive but had to sound relatively good. I purchased a JVC but that lasted about a week and quit working so I returned it. It was then that I saw this on Overstock. We all know that KLH is not exactly known as a high end product - normally it falls into the low end spectrum of electronics. Nevertheless, I thought at 70 bucks, it may be worth a try. I bought it, hooked it up, and was very pleasantly surprised. You will never confuse this with a Marantz (or any other expensive product) - it looks heavy, basic and antiquated. But it does have all the necessary connections and it sounds good. I cannot rate this on longevity (I only have it about a week), but I am very happy with my purchase.
