Optoma DK-SW50 50W Subwoofer By: Optoma Average Rating: 2.0 Total Reviews: 4 More Information

This has to be the most pathetic subwoofer ever created. The enclosure is not at all tuned correctly and the puny 4 inch speaker cant handle any frequecy below 80Hz without totally distoring (yes even at the lowest volume settings). 50 watts? Yah Right... Maybe 50 Watts instantaneous peak at 125Hz, but not even close to 50 watts where you need it.
Do not waste your money on this junk. Save up for a little while longer and get something from a company that does not hide their true specifications. On: 2007-08-31
This 50W DK subwoofer came free after I purchased the projector. Either I got a lemon, or they simply arent worth the box they ship it in. Dont buy it, you will regret it as soon as you hear it.
On the other hand, I still love my Optoma DV10 MovieTime Home Theater DLP Projector With Built-In DVD Player, but I hooked it up to a Sony HT-DDW700 Complete 5.1-Channel DVD Home Theater System instead. As of today (9/1/2007) this Sony package is selling for $169.00. Together, these are a great combination.

Terrible in every way. Completely unusable. The speaker is either blown or there is something rattling around inside.
Dont waste your money on this inferior product. On: 2007-03-10
i love this with my optoma digital projector--you really get that deep vibrato that makes the movie seem more present.
