I bought these for my moms patio, and I was impressed they are great sounding cost effective speakers

I picked them up on sale at Best Buy for $39.95. They sound very good for the small drivers they contain. After mounting them I tested them with dfferent types of music. To name a few; Eagles and Hootie and the blowfish sounded natural and the speakers breathed very well. The only thing that had coloration was the New Orleans Nightcrawlers (great band by the way, mostly horns). I did have to increase the bass on my reveiver to get some low end. But as you know speakers sound better after they have been played a while! I love the design and they look much more expensive than what they cost, even at full price.

The items technical data says "Item Package Quantity: 1." This means one pair of speakers.
Other than that slightly ambiguous wording, I love these speakers. They need to be paired with a subwoofer for full sound, and it should have a fairly high crossover frequency, but they sound great.
For the money, I havent seen anything better.
