The highs are crystal. Speaker tracks very accurately. Sounds great with the RB-61s.

I bought the SC-1 as a replacement for the stock center channel for my 5.1 system. The sound is incredibly clear and voices come through at a lower volume level (which Im sure the neighbors appreciate during action movies). In fact, I have heard background voices Id never heard before in some of my most watched movies!

This is a really good center channel speaker with great frequency response, accurate sound and high efficiency. For the money it was definitely one of my best buys. I would definitely recommend it. Aesthetically it is clean and simple looking so it doesnt stand out much.

After using this center channel speaker for a month it performs flawlessy. The Klipsch synergy series offers the type of performance normally found on more expensive center channel speakers. For the money I dont believe you will find another speaker that will out perform the SC-1. I was so impressed with the sound I purchased a pair of SS-1 surround speakers that compliments the SC-1 perfectly. Using an Onkyo TX-DS747 A/V receiver, a Sony Bravia XBR 46 LCD T.V, a Toshiba SD-4900 dvd player, a Velodyne VRP-1000 subwoofer and a pair of Ohm C-2 large bookshelf speakers my home theater system is complete.

I have had the Klipsch Speaker for over 6 months and couldnt be happier. It provides additional highs my satellites cant quite reach.
The sound can best described as accurate and movie theatre quality.
The speaker is so good in fact I purchased another one for my sons Christmas present. Every review Ive read has been 5/5.
I particularly like the fact that its well shielded becaise it sits on the same level as my Pioneer Plasma Screen.
Physically, its not big so it doesnt draw attention to itself.
Buy it, you cant go wrong.

I have had and use it for 2 years. It has worked great it sounds just like a movie theater speaker. If you get it though please use THX certified wire on it or else it makes a strange noise when it is turned up loud
