This DVD camcorder was a good price compare to others brand and I make my decision nad bought one,but since you pur a DVD into it is problem.First it dont reconginzed teh DVD say no dic , on and on, when finally acept the disc it will format, if you are lucky . But you are not finished when you are recording it say disk writing error and you have to restart the DVD.
I tought first was the type of disk , but I have use 3 brands and all the DVD recording types and it is the same problem. I call SAMSUNG na dthey tolled me to download some Firmaware after I downloaded even that could not be recognized by the Camcorder.
Finally i decided to return back this camera to SAMSUNG, because it is the only choce for them to fix it. But stay away from that camera. buy SONY, CANON, ETC..

This was a great camera for the price. It comes with a great EDITING program and is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. A COUPLE PROBLEMS THOUGH.THE FIRST TIME LOADING THE VERY EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO FIND DISKS I HAD A LOADING ERROR AND EARADED MY VIDEO. ****ALSO IT IS ADEVERTISED AS HAVING A 4-1 MEMORY CARD SLOT WHICH I SUGGEST YOU USE BUT THE MEMORY STICK PRO HAS A SMALL KIND (WHICH GOT STUCK IN MY CAMERA) AND A NORMAL SIZE ONE. ***DO NOT GET A SCANDISK MEMORY STICK PRO DUO** THESE GET STUCK IN YOUR CAMERA AND GOOD LUCK FINDING A CERTIFIED SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER THAT COVERS THE WARRANTY (IF U EVEN HAVE ONE). Otherwise by this camera and have a great time with it.
