I received this as a gift and within a couple of months the light on the LCD stopped working. It was impossible to read what the machine was doing. We got another as a replacement since it was still under warranty. A little more than a year later and the "new" one is doing the same thing! It is particularly annoying since it also doesnt play each CD and its very difficult to see if its even trying to read the CD or not. The remote doesnt work very well--sometimes pressing play will change the function from CD to mp3. I was so excited to have this for my iPod and its just been a disappointment. I would not recommend buying one of these.

This unit works fine. I have had it about a month and have had no problems. All the controls work well. The only major problem is the sound. It doesnt have a lot of volume and the sound is a little tinny!

I couldnt find ANYTHING remotely like this -- something that could play stored music off memory cards and USB thumb drives. Yes, lots of stereos let you play MP3 players through them, but you are running the MP3 player off battery power, and have to change the battery every 15-20 hours. With this, you just plug in a memory card or thumb drive with music files, and it plays off them -- no batteries needed.
The only reason its not a 5-star is because I wish it had even more wattage for even bigger sound (but it does sound very good -- I just like my stereos BIG).

I just wish the sound would go up a little more but its still a great iluv sound is loud & clear. Also hoped the super woofer would be controled by the remote. but still a great buy for the price.

The blue Screen stoped working on me after 3-4 months :(

I was looking for an affordable iPod/stereo and I think that for the money paid this is a very nice system.
It takes awhile to adjust the bass setup so it doesnt overpower everything -- using the proper equalizer setup helps. At first I was concerned about the iPod docking station wouldnt support the iiPod -- it seemed like the iPod might just fall over but that hasnt been the case. Just by using the correct "sleeve" the iPod rests comfortably in the docking station.
And while you do have to manually select your playlist from the iPod and not use the remote -- this is a minor inconvenience at best.
I am very happy with it -- as long as you have a playlist setup that you want, there really is no limit to the duration of your music flow. Some of my playlists will last for days.

I am very happy with the sound system.It is not the very best sound, but is very good and easy to use.My husband helped me to installed and it was very easy.You can really enjoy the music.Is cool that you can play CDs and Ipods, Mp3 and more.I was looking for something that wasnt too complicated to use,and this is it. This is an excellent product.

This docking radio system works great! The only thing it doesnt do is charge my nano. But other than that, it works great for the price. It looks great too. =) Sound quality is good, radio works, cd player works....cant complain...

Ive had this product for about 8 months now and have had no problems. The sound is extremely clear no matter if I am playing music using a CD or my iPod. There are also other input options that I dont really use.
My one big complaint (lack of 5 stars) is that here is no input/output option that allows me to port my sound from my TV through the speakers. Otherwise, a great product!

The first unit I got wouldnt charge the ipod nor would the cd player read any cds. Called iLuv tech support on the weekend and got a message that mailbox was full try again later. I returned it and got a second unit. Once again, the cd player wouldnt read any cds. Tech support did answer this time when I called during office hours 8-5pm EST. But could offer no solution. Return it a second time and I wont purchase it again.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Xmas to go along with her ipod nano (also to replace her mini shelf stereo that I broke)...its a nice little system...i got it for less than $100...and it has everything she needs...Ipod dock/charger, cd player, usb-sd card input and an am-fm digital reciever....and they all work very well...its a very stylish looking system..nice quality....the sound quality is very good for the price...dont expect bose quality and you wont be disappointed....the only gripe i have is that there is no manual EQ....just 5 presets (classical, rock, pop, jazz etc.)...if you keep it on rock..its sounds pretty good...but i would like to be able to adjust the bass/treble manually....thats about it.....my g/f loves it and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a mini stereo system with an ipod dock.

I bought this system for my oldest daughter. I was so impressed with its sound quality, I am ordering one for myself as well. It plays SD cards as well, which is great because my younger daughter has a disney mix stick, and we can play these cards on the stereo when she doesnt want to listen to earphones. Very impressed. Great alternative to more expensive systems such as bose.

I purchased this item for my daughter through the military exchange based on the connectivity options it offered. The item came in well packaged in a double box with QA stickers across the opening seemingly indicating that the QC department check it out before shipping. First of all it appeared that the item had been previously used. The batteries for the remote where nowhere to be found, there was a quick start guide that seemed to have been crumpled into cellophane. The unit is made of thin plastic and comes with adpaters to accomodate varying iPods. Once the unit was connected to the speakers and power my daughter inserted her iPod and immediately started playing music. The sound is below average and there is no equalizaiton or tone controls to adjust it. Next up was the radio. FM Reception was fair, apparently it comes with a loop atenna for AM but that was also missing so I didnt test AM. Next up the CD, first it was an MP3 CD, no luck, a copied CD and regular CD failed as well. There are more sources that can be used, i.e. various memory cards but I had seen enough. Its now packaged and ready to be returned. Stay away from this one.
