The printer is OK but I was hoping it would be compatible with other cameras but it isnt & will erase pictures from other cameras kinda disappointing. On: 2008-02-24
The camera is really small and the instructions can be just a little confusing but overall good. I havent had any problems with the camera, although people on here who have ordered it say it breaks easily. So far its reall good. The printer is really small as well. I should have payed more attention to the print size, because they print out photos less than half the size of a regular piece of paper. But if you want a small camera and printer for a good price, than this is good. It has a great feature that plugs into the computer and downloads pics. And it also automatically uses a flash, and turns it off when the flash is not necessary because its too bright. But Overall it was good buy, and Im happy with it. On: 2007-11-29
I think I wrote a review on this product before. As far as shipment and delivery goes every thing was fine. As far as the actual product goes its a Christmas gift so I really cant rate it yet. On: 2007-08-30
The kodak camera we purchased worked fine. The dock broke after approximately 60 pictures. After tons of communications Kodak passes the buck and does nothing. Their customer service sucks. Do not expect them to repair anything that doesnt work. They lost it for 3 months and then made up an excuse that playdoh was jammed in our dock. We dont even own play doh or have any in our house. They are LIARS, do not buy from kodak if you like customer service. On: 2007-08-14
We have been disappointed with both camera and printer during the two and a half years weve had them. We had to send the camera back twice during the first year for repairs after lengthy, tedious phone conversations with the company to assure them repeatedly that "no, it has not been immersed in liquid" and to go through a list of very obvious things to check for and eliminate reasons for it malfunctioning. The closure for the battery is now broken on the camera - we gave up and got a Nikon, which we love. My sister had similar problems with her Kodak in a short time period as well. The printer has been very temperamental and has finally died completely.
Good quality pictures, easy to use, but Id recommend paying a bit more to get a product that will last longer and be more reliable. We have given up on Kodak. On: 2007-06-01
I liked the price of the set and having the ability to print pictures with the printer dock is a good idea but I am having problems with the film cartridges not matching up with the number of photo cards that come in the set plus I am also having problems with the photo cards not feeding in to the printer correctly. You may want to buy the 160 photo cards set as the cost per picture is a lot less than the 40 or 80 card bundles. On: 2007-05-20
My family and i are very pleased with our new camera! It came in a timely matter. And is very easy to use. On: 2007-05-14
Kodak makes great temporary cameras.
Only lasts about 1-2 years.
Get the warrenty if you purchase this camera.
Takes decent pictures while it works. On: 2007-05-10
I bought this camera for my girlfriend and so far no complaints. It works well and prints easily. Shes not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she works it with ease.
The only downfalls, is the limited internal memory, and the ink cartridge it comes with doesnt print many pics. Buy a scandisk and extra ink and itll be great. On: 2007-04-12
I bought the C-533 version along with the printer dock 3, and I love this outfit! Small, lightweight, and takes great pictures! My only two complaints, number one; the cartridge/paper kits are hard to come by locally, and when I can find them, they are outragiously high in price. Number two; I run an older windows 98 computer, and the software for windows 98 was not incuded. I had to download it, and after the download, it is complicated to set up, and had to contact tech support to find the name of a hidden driver file so I could locate it and install it. I do realize that windows 98 is becoming the system of the past, but there are many of these systems still out there. On: 2007-04-07
The camera takes a great photo. I cant seem to control the red eye though. The ink and paper cartridge seems to expend really quickly. Great printout though - the pictures are send out quality. On: 2007-03-25
I bought this camera for my 80 year old mother because I knew that if she was going to try digital photography, it had to be EASY ! The printer dock is simple for her to use to transfer snapshots of her cat to her computer and email them to her friends. I have used the older CX-7300,( very similar camera) for backpacking for years and it has never failed under harsh conditions. The lack of optical zoom is a plus for me; less to break. The C530 is more compact, has better resolution, and still has the option of using AA batteries when the rechargables die. If you want simple digital snapshots, you will love this little camera. I purchased this bundle last week on Amazon, first the price ($170)was amazing and it arrived in only two days with standard shipping. I was able to use the camera right out of the box, although after a few pictures I did need to put it on the printer dock to charge it but a couple hours later it was fully charged. This is an awesome bundle, it even comes with a small pack of paper so you can start printing pictures right away, which I did and the printer is very easy to use just plug it in, put the camera on top, press the print button and you have a great picture a minute later. This is my second digital camera and I am so impressed with it, this is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a camera with a higher number of megapixels, my old camera had 1.3, and I wanted to be able to take a picture with no delay in between the time you press the button and the time it actually takes the picture. If you have kids you defenitly dont want a delay. I did purchase a memory card since the camera only holds about 11 or 12 pictures on its internal memory. If you are looking for an easy to use camera with good picture quality and the ease of printing your pictures at home then this is the perfect camera & printer for you. On: 2007-01-22
I bought this camera kit as a gift, and the recipient loves it! They put it together and started to charge it while I was at their home, and by the time I left they were already able to use it.
It comes with a rechargeable battery, some start up printer paper (more is sold separately), and a CD program that allows you to upload the photos into your computer to edit. The photos print out relatively quickly, and they are very, very clear and colorful. The camera takes very good pictures.
For the price, it is a fabulous product, and I would recommend it to anyone. I am planning to buy this for myself very soon. On: 2007-01-21

I was very nervous because this item did not ship when expected but both times I called customer service for updates they were very helpful and I did end up getting this in PLENTY of time for Christmas. I would definitely buy from them again. On: 2007-01-19
I gave this to my folks(who are completely clueless when it comes to anything electronic) for X-mas and they worked it out. They love it. I must say I was actually impressed with the color quality of the pics. Good stuff. On: 2007-01-18
this was by far one of the greatest gifts ever received and greatly enjoyed On: 2007-01-17
Unfortunately, I had to return the camera because it was not the one my daughter wanted. The return process was not customer friendly and I felt it was a rip-off to have to pay a 15% restocking fee. That is an incredibly high amount to pay for nothing. I will never purchase anything again from this vendor for that reason. On: 2007-01-16
This camera is very easy to operate and takes really clear pictures. The printer prints excellent pictures - all around a GREAT buy! The only thing you might want to do is buy a memory disk because one does NOT come with the camera. On: 2007-01-10
My grandchildren love their Kodak C530 camera and printer dock. They are very excited about taking pictures of their family, friends and hobbies and are very pleased at how good they turn out. Clear and sharp but the best part is being able to print them out themselves. The camera and printer are very easy to use that even a 7 year old can and does use it! On: 2007-01-10
I found the Kodak Easyshare to be a great first digital camera. It truly is easy to use, and is a great introduction to the world of digital photography for a teen (Santa brought this for my 16-year-old). I was also impressed with Amazons prompt delivery, price, and follow-up. In short, its a great learning tool for someone who wants to learn about digital photography before investing a substantial sum of money. On: 2007-01-09
The Camera is spectacular, great pics easy to use and convienient size. The printer is awsome. Made some good pictures off of it. Down fall is the cost of the replacement ink cartridges and paper. The software for the computer is a pain to use as well. Can not seem to beable to take picture and reduce "redeye" On: 2007-01-09
This is a great camera - very easy to use. I bought it for a 6 year old and the features are very simple. The printer is self explanatory and I love the options (4x6, 2 - 2x3s, 4 wallets, or 9 lockets). THe paper has a waterproof coating. Use the 3:2 mode, instead of the 5 megapixels mode. The description is not totally correct in the amazon ad. It comes with the printer, two rechargable AA nimh batteries, a wrist strap, a printer, a paper feeder, a dock, paper and an ink cartridge to print 10 photos, all of the necessary cords for the printer and hooking the camera up to a computer, a cd-rom to download the features onto the computer, and instruction manuals. On: 2007-01-09
For the price the camera is excellent upgrade option. Great photos and very small (easily fit in pockets!) Very happy with this item! On: 2007-01-09
I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS AND SHE LOVES IT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA On: 2006-11-06
Great Camera and even priced well, easy to use, takes clear pictures and very easy to print with the dock which also serves as your charger for batterys,I carry mine everywhere I go.Also easy to down load onto a computer file.Love this camera,Thanks Amazon. On: 2006-08-17
I ordered this camera as a gift for myself for my birthday. I took several pictures of friends when we went out to dinner. One of my friends was very impressed with the photos that I sent to him. He was amazed at the quality of the picture and the fact that it was taken with such a small camera. The ease of using the camera, the amazing prints and the overall quality of the product is very satisfying to me. My daughter has a camera that she paid a lot more for and, in my opinion, this camera takes as good a picture if not better. I love the fact that I can take pictures, print them out without going to a store and waiting several days to get them back, and I can download them very easily into my computer (the program is very user friendly) and I can email them with a simple click of a button to family and friends. I, for one, am very pleased and happy with my purchase. I would recommend this product highly to any and all family, friends, and anyone who asks. On: 2006-07-13
I bought this as a gift for my sister who is currently visiting me for the summer back in June, so weve had almost a month to test it out. She had seen the camera priced ranging from $119USD-$139USD, and the dock at $127USD, so getting this combo package for less than $180 was a fantastic!
The camera is extremely easy to use. Its simple features are perfect for anyone starting out in the world of digital cameras. Navigating through the menus does not even require you reading the manual; everything appears on the screen.
Since the camera does not come with an external memory card, you must get one ASAP, as you can only take about 15-20 pictures on the lowest setting possible using the cameras internal memory. We took pictures using 3.1MP and I must say, they turned out very well. So we then switched to 5MP setting and of course the pictures were sharper & larger; thus better. The view screen is a good size, and so is the digital zoom compared to my own digital camera. My sister has also recorded MPEGs of my cat. Once again, extremely easy to navigate, record, and playback.
The camera charges & prints from the Easyshare printer dock. The battery life is about 3 hours when fully charged, weve had no problems with the battery or the dock thus far. Everything youll need ie. USB plugs, printer cartridge, cables, photo paper are all included in the package. Like I mentioned before, youll need to get a memory card. We purchased a 512MB and on the 3.1MP setting, the camera says you should get over 500 pictures out of it.
This is an excellent purchase for anyone who is just starting out or who is not looking for anything complicated--just point & click.
