Creative Inspire 290 Speakers

I had a 2.1 set-up from A**** L****** prior to the Inspire 290, and all I can say right now is that I am really happy. The former unit made a hissing noise regardless of being turned on or not, and the new Inspire 290--I cant say that its new, since its now discontinued in Creative--is silent compared to the A**** unit. Ive so far purchased 7 PC speakers in the last 5 years for my home computers--I own three--and the ones I bought from Creative are the best. I dont think anyone can buy anything of this value at this price. And by the way, speaking of quality, Im a huge music enthusiast strapped for cash, and Id choose Creative over L******* purely for qualitys sake.
The volume/tone control is a little hard to get used to; it took me an hour to get used to it. The green light, whether I like it or not, is facing to the right, so I cant really see it.
If youre strapped for cash and cant afford to buy a B*** product or a more expensive Creative model, Id go with this one. Ive become a loyal Creative customer as of receiving this.
