First off, ignore the previous review on Amazon. These are most certainly STEREO headphones.
But are they GOOD headphones? In short, no. The bass response is pretty good, but the midrange and highs are poor: indistinct and not at all well defined. I made the mistake of trying out these headphones because Amazon had they on sale. I emplore you not make the same mistake.
On the plus side, theyre reasonably comfortable. Thats precious little compensation for the inadequate sound, however.

The headphones are not true stereo. I noticed on the packaging that it says High Performance but nothing indicates stereo. I tried them with my 350DL and did not notice any difference with the sound from Mono to Stereo. I tried a pair of sony headphones with the unit and the stereo sound was present.
