New FujifilmDigital Camera     On: 2008-04-01

I received a Fujifilm FinePix 2650 digital camera for Xmas in 2002. I have had much fun using it. However, I thought time had arrived to get an "up grade", namely a Fujifilm FinePix E900. I am amazed at the things one can do with this camera. I like to take pictures of my Grandson when he participates in track meets. The "continuous shooting" mode allows me to get great pictures of him in the center of a picture.
Fuji Finepix E900 Digital Camera good buy     On: 2008-01-15

My family has used this camera for serveral months and we are very happy with it for point-and-shoot. We recommend it. Like any camera, it goes through AA batteries fast, so we have a stock of NiMH AA batteries that we recharge (making sure we discharge them as much as possible to avoid the battery memory problem). The only complaint is blurry pictures (from motion blur - auto focus is fine). It seems the only setting that works consistently is the fast motion setting. The "AUTO" setting is the worst - camera takes too long to snap the image and the action is always past (hard to make little kids be still for a picture).
Great Camera     On: 2007-02-06

I spent weeks researching a good point-and-shoot digital camera and finally went with Consumer Reports recommended "best buy." I found the picture quality to be outstanding for most situations and the battery life to be amazing. The graphing feature really helps in setting up a shot to help manage existing lighting to enhance your photo or at least prevent messing up a rare-moment shot.
While you can open the box, charge the batteries and pretty much just start shooting, you are much better off to thoroughly read the manual (which is no small task) and become familiar with many of the advanced features. I found I was able to really improve many of my shots.

I have only one small beef and that is the mode selection knob is easily bumped out of its last position so until you get used to checking it every time (as you should anyway) you may be wondering what is going on as you review your shots.
