Works very fine, speaker phone has bad sound. I have some conflicts with my bluetooth drivers in Windows Vista that i need to choose correct devices (mic, speaker) on every call.
In general is a good product On: 2007-07-04
This phone means you only need one piece of cordless equipment to call and receive calls from your landline contacts and your skype contacts. Removes the need for separate mic and headphone set ups.

Weve been using this phone for a few weeks in our office, and Im happy with the phone so far. We specifically chose a phone that could support both Skype and a regular phone line, and one that plugged into the computer instead of the router (which would cause far too many issues in our network).
It was very easy to set up, but we did have an issue with the sound settings. We werent able to get the sound settings to allow both Skype and our speakers. I sent a message to US Robotics support about the problem, and havent gotten a response after TWO WEEKS! We figured it out eventually on our own, but the only response we got was a survey on how well they answered our question.
If youre having the same problem, dont follow the settings in the user guide. Heres what we did:
Control Panel > Sounds
Audio Tab: Chose SoundMAX Audio for playback, USR Skype for recording
Voice Tab: Chose USR Skype for both
Aside from the poor service from US Robotics, I still think this was a good purchase. The sound quality is crisp, the range is the same as our standard cordless phone, and the handset is fairly comfortable to use.

My USRobotics Skype equipped, cordless phone does everything I expected it to do. It is great to be able to walk around and do other things while I am using the phone, as opposed to being tethered to my computer while I talk. I have 4 other cordless phones in use on the same phone line and the sound quality is great, whether I am talking through Skype or through my phone company. Im not a geek, but I found the entire installation process to be quite simple.

I DIDNT BUY THE CHEAPEST PRODUCT. I SOUGHT A PRODUCT WHOSE REVIEWS WAS GOOD. AND I GOT RIGHT IN FULL: THAT PHONE IS VERY GOOD! by: Anonymous On: 2007-01-10
I didnt want to put a lot into buying a phone for skype because Ill probably get a WiFi phone down the road... very pleased with this one. Easy to set up and voice/sound quality is excellent. Nice to be able to use the phone anywhere in the house. by: pfoltz5 On: 2006-12-21
I really like this phone, and the SKYPE service that it works in conjunction with. The beauty of this phone is that it uses both your land line, and your Skype connection. The base station has both an analog line that plugs into a wall jack, and a USB cable that attaches to your PC (with Skype running on it), and there is a cordless handset with a separate charger base. There is a CD install that you must kick off to make the phone work in conjuction with Skype that is quite easy.
The quality of connection and call has so far been exceptional using Skype, and the normal quality I would expect over a regular line. The handset displays your Skype contacts for dialing via a scrollable menu. You press a big S key on the handset to bring up the Skype list for dialing.
There is a plug for a handsfree headset. The one grouse I have is that you dont get a belt clip with the phone.
The range of the phone in the house seems to be just as good as a 5.8Ghz cordless set that we have.
This is a great way to save major $$ on your long distance bill, and have all the convenience and mobility of a regular cordless line.
