This Tv is not supposed to be the best quality. Its supposed to be a good deal, and it is! I paid $600 for it about 9 months ago and love it. I was not in the position to spend $1500 on a television set. this Tv was a great alternative. Thanks ILO. On: 2007-03-19
I bought this TV new for 800. It worked fine for about 3 months, and then BAM it was frozen. I had been last unsing it in COMPONENT, and that is where it was stuck. All buttons on the TV were useless except the power button, same as the remote. You click them and nothing. I exchanged the TV with no problems because of the 90 day return policy. I got the new one home and it all seemed to work great... Until a month later THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED! Now this TV has been discontinued, and I can no longer exchange. I am stuck with a TV in COMPONENT, my DirecTv HDMI port is useless along with the 8 others on the TV. On: 2006-12-29
I bought this TV at Walmart for $689 and am very happy with it. It brings my PS3 to life. It exceeded my expectations. I was concerned how it would handle non HD signals via cable and satelite but after hooking it up I am impressed. The display model was hooked up right next to a Samsung and it looked about as good. The Samsung looked like it displayed a bit more richer colors but for the price difference is very well worth it. The only downside to the TV that I can tell for now is that DVDs that were formated in widescreen 2.3: 1 only shows up in the about half of the screen. It would be nice if it could stretch it to fit the whole screen. Luckliy I only have about 3 movies like that or else Id be looking for another one. On: 2006-12-13
I have only had this TV for about a week now, but I have to say it is one of the best investments I have ever made. The picture quality is amazing, the price cant be beat, and so far I have not had a single problem. I highly recommend this TV for your HDTV needs. On: 2006-10-25
This monitor was displayed along side several other brands and the difference was incredible. I could not resist its image quality and price (< $900).
At home on cable I was very pleased with the skin tones (much more towards a truer, whiter flesh tone, not the normal reddish orange). Its sharpness on the world series and other sports broadcast is outstanding. Fine detail to the point of more than I want to know about the pitchers complexion. Dont see a better bargin out there for a HD starter tv and monitor.
