Ive been big into the HD scene for a few years now, and never payed much attention to audio. I was always fine with television speakers, partially because I felt overwhelmed with the endless speaker/reciever combinations possible. I finally decided to get this surround sound speaker system, and boy have I been missing out!!
I paired these HKTS-18 with the Onkyo TX-SR606 reciever, and couldnt be happier.
I really have no point of reference, but what I can tell you is that these speakers rock! Not only do they look great, but the sound from the satelites is CRYSTAL clear. And the subwoofer is literally earth rattling. Lucky my condo has decently insulated walls/floors, but if you have thin walls, Id be careful not to turn this puppy up too high.
I purchased one pair of the harman kardon stands for my front speakers, and purchased a generic set of stands for the rear channels. Everything looks great, and people now think Im some sort of audio-phile, partially because I take pride in my setup, but also because they here the high-quality sound these speakers put out. I just recently purchased the HKTS-18 from HARMAN/KARDON and I have got to say that I am very pleased with the sound quality from these loudspeakers. For the area I was setting up my home theater in I could really only go with a satellite style speaker, and not wanting to go with an HTIB setup, I went with a sub/sat combo instead. Im not to pleased with the current HTIB packages that are out right now because: 1. You get what you pay for and 2. The receivers that are packaged with the systems are usually very limited. Setting up these speakers was pretty easy, Whether youve had previous experience setting up a 5.1 system or not. The casing of each speaker are finished in a high gloss and have a nice weighted feel to them. HK went with the push pin style connector on these speakers which im not too pleased with, but was not that big of a deal.
Sound quality was very clear, crisp and bright which is expected from this speaker style. All speakers are voice matched for a seamless transfer between all channels. I would have liked a larger center channel as the one provided is the same size as the other four speakers. HK does not offer a center channel upgrade, so if youd like to change it out you would have to go with a different brand which I do not recommend. The provided powered subwoofer has a 10" down firing speaker that is sealed in a bass reflex (ported) enclosure. Low-frequency sounds are true, deep, and room-shaking. I would say that this subwoofer is capable of handling anywhere between 25-35Hz. The style of the enclosure is in the same high gloss finish as the other 5 speakers which makes for a very stylish/sleek look and stands about 18" tall. One big plus is that almost all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a more expensive higher end sub are present on this one such as a line-level LFE input, audio-sense or external-trigger on/off and a multicolor LED power indicator.
Next is my receiver. I wanted to go with one that would offer me the latest in audio formats from Blue Ray and HDDVD movies as well as HDMI input/switching. So for my budget and room size I decided on the TXSR-606 from Onkyo. This receiver has exceeded my expectations completely and being a previous Onkyo owner, I was expecting alot. Dolby Tru HD and DTS HD Master audio sound tracks sound amazingly life like output through my HKTS-18. The audyssey 2 calibration system that the TXSR-606 offers helped for an easy proper stress free setup.
So all in all I am very pleased with the out come from these two items paired together and my home theater experience has become more enjoyable. I find myself going back through my old DVD collection to revisit great movies and with a new twist on audio.
System includes:
Sharp-Aquos-LC32D62U-32-Inch-1080p
Onkyo TXSR-606
Harman/Kardon HKTS-18
Toshiba HD-A30 via HDMI
Panasonic BD30-K via HDMI
Xbox 360 via HDMI
Z-line TV/Audio stand

I just finished installation of the HKTS-18 system.
The sound quality is good, especially due to the powerful sub woofer, and it meets my overall expectations.
My only problem was in mounting the speakers. My family room was prewired by the previous owner for surround and had some old Yamaha speakers mounted with Omnimount type of mounts. I wanted to upgrade the sound as well as create a sleeker look.
I mounted the HKTS18 main speakers to the front wall and they look pretty clean. The problem that I ran into was to install the rears, which were previously wired from the ceiling.
The only way to mount HKTS18 is to run the wire straight through the wall and into the speaker mounting bracket. (When the wall mounting hardware is connected to the speaker, the speaker wire clamps are not accessible from the outside of the speaker, only through the mounting bracket opening that mounts flush to the wall). This mounting design makes it impossible to mount if the wire comes out of the ceiling or if you dont mount the speaker exactly on top of the speaker wire wall opening. There is no way that I could find to use another mounting option like an Omnimount.
Because my rear wall is an outside wall on the slope of my roof it was not feasible for me to rewire the rears (although I did make a strong effort including crawling in the attic and even calling a home theater installer for advice).
Finally, I ended up installing floating corner shelves that I picked up at Home Depot and standing the rear speakers on the shelves. This solved my problem but it not as clean of a look as I was originally hoping for.
If I knew what I know now, I would have ordered similar mains and sub, but installed in-ceiling speakers for the rears.
I hope this helps anyone with a similar ceiling speaker wire scenario.

Buying these was a no brainer - they were extremely well reviewed, a good value, and bestsellers here on Amazon. Getting them all set up was a snap (they come with EVERYTHING!), and the sound is rich, crisp and completely immersive. Definitely recommended - they perform well and are beautiful to look at! I purchased the HKTS 18 5.1 Home theater system a few weeks ago and I cannot believe how easy it was to set up. I used the wall mounts and was able to hide the wires and even went through the wall with 2 of the wires to completly make it look wireless. After programming the system with my Sony amplifier STR-DG810 and hooking up the subwoofer, I am just amazed at the quality of sound produced. It is awesome to say the least. I would recommend this home theater system to anyone. Quality and beauty along with the ease of setting it up convices me that quality does exist. I was also amazed that all the speaker wires (color-coded) came with the system. There is nothing else to buy, just your time to set it up and enjoy. Thank you for carrying a great system. I bought this 3 months ago along with the ever so popular Onkyo SR605. All I can say after 3 months of usage is that I could not have spent my money on a better looking and performing system in this price range.
The set up was a breeze and the sound quality is superb. You have to realize that as much as the receiver does its part in processing sounds, its the speaker system in the end that delivers them! Buying the right combination of speaker system & receiver is extremely important.
I compared Polk, Infinity & HK speaker systems and found that HK in addition to its incredible design and looks, also delivers a superlative listening experience.
The only negative I can think of is that the speaker cables are black which makes it difficult to hide along the edges of the carpet!
Also suggest buying banana plugs from monoprice.com !
Spend a little extra to buy Black Lacquer stands that go well with this HTFS-2B, especially for your rear speakers. On: 2008-05-03
After reading many good reviews on this product from Amazon, I decided to give it a try. It turn out exactly what most reviewers said. The sound from surround speakers is very crisp and clear, the base speaker is awesome. Match the speaker with my old 80watts Denon receiver with sub output, this system makes my Bose lifestyle 38 sound like a second grade speakers. Installation is no harder than any other surround sound system outthere. On: 2008-04-12
I bought these speakers few months back. The quality of the sound is amazing. I have tried different speaker systems earlier; however, this is the best for its price. The bass for these speakers is very real and theater-like.. You do not have any choice but to appreciate it. Speaker system has great looks. Subwoofer is a little large. On: 2008-03-18
Speakers were a pain getting setup, but once all was in place the speakers have performed brilliantly. Subwoofer also has great power. I will buy harman kardon speakers from this point forward. On: 2008-03-15
I have coupled these speakers to a Yamaha RX-V661 receiver. Just leave it to say this is a great combination. These speakers are fantastic. They are a great deal for the money. On: 2008-03-13
I love these speakers. I purchased them recently to use with an Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver, and these speakers deliver! The bass is unreal...and the sound output is great. I hear things in movies now that I never heard before. I love these speakers and highly recommend them, especially at around $400 for the entire system. On: 2008-03-12
Im very pleased with my speaker purchase. They look great and sound great. I have it hooked up to a harman/kardon avr-347. I would recommend the matching speaker stands to complete look! On: 2008-03-11
I received these speakers about 2 weeks ago, but since Ive been extremely busy, I just set them up this past weekend. I have a Denon AVR-1708 and let me tell you, these sound amazing. I used to have an old Sony Dream system, and was I missing out. These speakers have a rich, full sound, and they do not distort when I crank up my Denon.
I would have given these speakers 5 stars, but the mounting option is what made me go with 4. My house is brand new and I got it pre-wired for surround sound on the ceilings. The mounting holes for the satellites are on the bottom which are not good for mounting on the ceiling. I did find a way around that for those that want to hang them on your ceiling. I already have the universal ceiling mounts, and what I did was connect these to the brackets that came with the speakers, but hung the speaker upside down. If you angle the speakers the way youre supposed to, they stay nice and secure. I didnt hang the center speaker because the holes on the bottom are really small and the brack that it comes with for the center doesnt allow enough space to attach the mounting brackets that I have (the holes are close to the speaker and you dont have enough room for the screws). So, I just left the center on top of the tv stand.
With this configuration, the speakers still sound amazing. On: 2008-03-05
The title says it all. Crystal clear sound. Heart-thumping bass. No distortion whatsoever. Just pair it up with a decent receiver and then let the music get the sound it deserves. Even my complaining neighbor cudnt help appreciate the punch :D. Fortunately, I happened to come across these and promptly decided to return my Bose. This one is way better for fraction of the cost.
PS. I sniped mine thru ebay from the Harman Kardon factory store for $260. Cant get any cheaper than that. Its factory re-manufactured but Id say its almost new. On: 2008-03-04
The system is easy to set up and sound is very good. Makes you feel you are in the theater. On: 2008-02-27
I actually own two sets of the HKTS-18s, but am only using two of the satellites and the extra sub driven by a Harman/Kardon AVR 645. Although the sensitivity is relatively low at 86db, they are extremely clear. They outshine my old Bose Acoustimass 10 series VI setup in every aspect and at half the price. Since purchasing the HKTS-18s I now agree with the "No highs, no lows, must be Bose" adage.
If you dont mind the set in silver, you can pick up a set of HKTS-14s directly from Harman/Kardons ebay store (harmanaudio) for under $200 (including shipping). The HKTS-14s are exactly the same except it uses a 12" driver in the subwoofer instead of a 10". On: 2008-02-27
I bought these speakers to pair with my new Onkyo 705 and they sound great. When Im ready to upgrade the quality of my speakers, these will make a great set for a second room.
Note: they come with wall mounts, but I was looking to put them on stands. The Harman stands are great looking, but expensive. The stands I purchased with "universal" mounts were difficult to install, but did eventually work. On: 2008-02-26
I Harman Kardon Speakers are very nice looking and the workmanship appears to be very good. For the price I paid they are a good speaker. The tweeter sound is not as crisp as I would like to see. The surround speakers are very good looking book shelf speakers and very solid built for small speakers. On: 2008-02-26
I ordered these on a friday night, and got them the following thursday. Cant beat 4 day shipping.
These look very aesthetically pleasing. High gloss paint job, modern.
As for the sound, well they sound great, especially for what youre paying. The Sub works great, and the speakers produce pretty accurate sound in my opinion.
I did not try the wall mounting, i got the floor stands. Ive heard the wall mounting kit that comes with this isnt so great.
Over all, Im glad i made this purchase, awesome sound. If this is the first time youre going to have a 5.1 system youre going to be blown away. Sometimes when Im watching movies i actually look over my shoulder because i think someones talking to me. Feels great!
Also, another brand with good satellite speakers: JBL

Making this choice was not easy for me. After months of listening and cranking up systems at various stores (yes, thats me trying to blow the speakers, I love it when the salesmen comes over and is trying to say something but you cant hear him. I like to give them that Blueman Group stare),I found what I was looking for. A sexy looking system, crisp sound, room thundering lows and easy on the pocket. While I was considering a Bose system the price kept turning me off--sounds great, price sucks. The HKTS-18 offers a great sounding system at a realistic price. Thanks to Boses pricing, it kept me in the game a little longer. Long enough to find this gem from Harman Kardon. Very satisfied. Plus shipping from Amazon was amazing. Received the speakers in two days on standard shipping. Nice surprise. On: 2008-02-06
The HKTS 18 speaker system has been producing magnificent sound in my living room since I installed it about a month ago. It is the most important element among the components I selected after much research to go with the Pioneer PDP-4272HD TV I bought last year. Heres what Ive learned from the shopping experience, the set-up and the audio results.
1. Dont skimp on speakers!! Originally I looked at Home Theater in a Box systems, did my homework, and fortunately decided on the HKTS-18s. In a 15X15 room they sound simply magnificent. These speakers would easily fill a room 20X20, and perhaps much larger, with distortion-free, crystal-clear sound. The subwoofer will shake any room you put it in when those movie jet aircraft on your DVD fly over. In addition, the surround speakers are artfully shaped, beautifully constructed and perfectly sized. The black finish perfectly matches the TV. The center speaker sits unobtrusively in front of the TV on the television stand. The color-coded speaker wire makes set-up easy and the speaker brackets make wall mounting a breeze where you dont choose to use the supplied leather pads under the speakers on a table or a shelf. To repeat, you can make a BIG difference in the sound of your system by purchasing the BEST speakers you can possibly afford. If you buy cheap or inadequate speakers there is nothing your receiver or DVD player can do to improve the sound. You cant do better for the money than the Harman Kardon HKTS-18s.
2. For your receiver and DVD player (or changer), look for features and price (in light of what your budget will allow after selecting the best speakers you can afford). I selected the SONY STR-DG910 and the Onkyo DV-CP704. Both are performing flawlessly. In my experience, the Amazon reviews of both provided very accurate, helpful information that has been born out in my experience.
3. The HKTS-18 is a 5.1 channel speaker system. I immediately turned it into a 6.1 system by retaining one of my "old" Bose 301 Series IV speakers as the sixth rear speaker. (I decided not to use the other Bose speaker to create a 7.1 system, but that remains an option, though Im absolutely delighted with the rich surround sound I have with the 6.1 set-up.) The SONY STR-DG910 receiver does a marvelous job of driving the 6.1 surround-sound system in my living-room while simultaneously driving a pair of speakers on the "B" channel wired into my kitchen.
4. A bit of advice on set-up. If you use HDMI cables, be sure to read thoroughly ALL of the instructions for the receiver and the DVD player. Youll need to go through the proper set-up programming to get the HDMI to function properly. A minor problem with the STR-DG910 receiver is the close quarters of the speaker-wire attachment points. Keep this in mind as you plan the sequence of what you attach when in the process and try to avoid making these attachments in close quarters. Poking the speaker wires into those little holes and turning the fittings down tight may try your patience. In regard to the Onkyo DV-CP704, my only temporary difficulty was getting it to play JPG images because I kept getting a "Bad Disc" message when trying to load the discs I had burned. You will get a "Bad Disc" message not ONLY when the disc is dirty (per the manual), but ALSO if the disc is not properly burned per the manual instructions (e.g., folder and file structure) and has been finalized properly using a burn program like Roxio.
5. Finally, Amazon delivery is simply amazing. I had all of my system components within three days of ordering them. On: 2008-02-05
Great speakers. Box came a bit beat up, but the speakers work great. Hooking up was a breeze. Works well with our Sony Receiver and new LCD tv. Speakers are bigger than some competitors out there, but worth it for the sound.
Got a great price just under $400. On: 2008-01-31
Ill just confirm and add a little bit to what everyone else has said about these truly great speakers. They sound great, first and foremost. They feel very solid, like they are made entirely of metal (a good thing!). In fact, while many systems sport satellite speakers weighing around 2 pounds (USA), these weigh closer to 3 pounds.
The image on the Amazon page for these speakers does not do them at all justice! The base speaker is very big, looks like a fine price of furniture, and could possible sub as a side-table (but dont do it...hehe)!
I have mine connected to a Denon AVR-1908 receiver. I mention this because it took me a few days to figure the best setup for these speakers, and I want to mention some pointers. My receiver allows choosing between small and large when it comes to the front, back, and center speakers. For these speakers, set them all to small.
But, most importantly, be sure the sub-woofer is turned on on your receiver! I used the system for a couple of days before I realized the bass speaker was not on! Thats because the front speakers were set to large, so they took up the task of filling in the missing bass (so it was hard to notice the bass wasnt on). I figured out how to turn the bass on in the receiver, and - WHOA! - the entire room shook!
Which brings me to a special pointer - you can tell if the bass speaker is getting a signal by the COLOR of the light on top! If it is off, there is no power. If it is yellow, it is on, but no signal (or too low a signal to register if low volume). Blue means on and there is a signal!
So, in conclusion, these speakers are awesome for the price! Speaking of which, the price of Amazon fluctuates for this item more than the stock market! I have seen it go up and down on the same day as much as fifty or even two hundred dollars! So monitor the price and strike when it is low (I got mine for LESS than four hundred dollars!). I feel it is only fair to take the time to write a review for this product since other reviews played a big part in my decision to purchase one. The HKTS-18 speaker system met all my expectations and even surpassed them on some points. The unit sounds as good as it looks, which is to say it looks of quality and has the sound to match. It was a straight forward installation and depending on how anal one is regarding snaking & fishing speaker wire, the time spent can vary (I spent the better part of a day). One point of potental difficulty is that the speakers have a bit of weight to them - quality of design - and the included wall mounts attach at only one end of the speaker. This looks good but can be a tricky support on drywall. If one is planning to wallmount these speakers, I would strongly suggest screwing directly into a stud if possible. On: 2008-01-27
I bought these speakers for my dad and thought that they would be pretty good speakers since they kept getting good reviews....Once I hooked them up for him, all I thought was Oh My God....these speakers were amazing.
The clarity was crystal clear, the base was nice and clean and extremely deep. When I watch a movie, it feels like your actually part of the movie b/c of the life like clarity.
I never thought these little speakers would be as nice as my Infinity Floor standing speakers with 15" of woofer plus my JBL surrounds....but they are. So, when I buy a flat panel TV, I will definitely be purchasing a set of these for myself to replace the speakers I have....And to think, my speakers ran me about $1800 and these were purchased for $400....wow! On: 2008-01-26
Great sound for the price. I live in an apartment and it only took a few days for nieghbors to complain about noise. The sub-woofer shakes all my walls!! Great clear sound with the Onkyo SR805 reciever I hooked them up to. On: 2008-01-21
I never thought I could find a decently priced speaker set that would come out as clear as these and match well with room asthetics. Well above my expectations for clarity. What this does seem to lack is in the subwoofer department. Its not bad, but Im used to 2 12" subs in my car; so, I was a bit disapointed. Overall I feel no remorse on my purchase through amazon for this product. Shipping took over 2 weeks though (Christmas + New Years to hold it back). On: 2008-01-21
I have very little negative to say about these speakers. They went up very easily and provide very good high fidelity sound.
The only slightly negative thing I have to say is that the speaker wires that came with the unit were not all long enough to get where I needed them and that if you have very thick speaker wire it will not fit through the wall mounting assembly. This is an exceptionally minor issue, especially since I was not really expecting it to come with the wiring and the wires it came with were of very good quality if a bit short.
Definitely worth the very reasonable price Amazon has them for. On: 2008-01-20

The speakers have a nice sound and are quite powerful for their size. The mounting hardware didnt work for mounting the speakers on the wall for me as designed and were difficult to even attempt to install because of their design. On: 2008-01-13
This system performs better than the Bose Acoustimass System. I have owned both. I used the Bose for several years, and left them in a home I sold. I read reviews about these HK speakers and decided to take a chance on them. I could not believe the sound when I installed them. I purchased a 5.1 system and then added a a pair of Athena WS-100 slimline speakers as fronts, turning it into a 7.1. Im driving the system with a Harmon Kardon 347 receiver, and I could not be more pleased with the surround sound. And the best part -- the HK system was cheaper than the Bose!!! On: 2008-01-13
Heres my setup:
- Harman Kardon AVR 147 Home Theater Receiver
- Harman Kardon HKTS-18 5.1 Channel Speaker System
- Xbox 360 Elite
- Xbox 360 HD DVD Player
- Sharp - AQUOS 32" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I have the XBox 360 connected to the H/K AVR 147 with an HDMI cable and a Rocketfish digital optical cable. The HDTV connects to H/K AVR 147 with another Rocketfish digital optical cable. The H/K AVR 147 connects to the HDTV with a Monster HDMI cable.
I first considered H/K for my home theater system because I have a H/K audio system in my car. This is my first home theater setup. The room I set the system up in is the perfect size for a 5.1 channel system. The directions are easy to follow and setup did not take long. It is really helpful having the speaker wires and AVR 147 inputs color coded. H/K customer service is very friendly, helpful, and fast (I asked if it was possible to remove the feet on the AVR 147. It is, but H/K does not recommend it.). Everything worked very well as soon as I turned it on. The audio quality is awesome. For a 5.1 channel system and at this price, I highly recommend this system. On: 2008-01-12

Very happy with the sound quality from these speakers and the sub. Crisp clear sound. These are connected to a Sony 3300ES audio receivers. The speaker mounts are not easy to use but they work once someone figure them out. On: 2008-01-02
Great sound from this system, matched with the HK AVR 247 Receiver. This fills my room (32 x 17) with excellent sound. The mounting brackets to the wall are nice, but removing the speaker from the mount can be tough, I snap off a locking tab off a mount rendering it useless. The speakers look great with the black high gloss finish; the subwoofer gives amazing low end sound from my music and movie collection. On: 2007-12-26
The sound is actually better than some of the Bose speakers Ive heard at a fraction of the cost. I spent 12 times as much for another set of surround speakers and the difference between that and this Harmon Kardon set is not huge. I highly recommend these speakers. On: 2007-12-24
I bought these speakers to go with the Harmon Kardon AVR 347. The sound is fantastic. Very clear and crisp. I highly recommend purchasing the set. On: 2007-12-22
I told myself when I purchased this system that I would write a review on it. I just received the HKTS 18 system today and have played a few things on it now. This system replaced some Sony towers and bookshelf speakers which were purchaed around 5 years ago. To set this up, I am running a Harman Kardon AVR 635 receiver that pushes around 75 watts per channel.
Positives: This system is absolutely beautiful. I had never seen these speakers in the store, but upon receiving them from UPS today, the individual surrounds are just about the perfect size and have a great weight to them, which shows quality. I am usually one who likes to take the grills off to feel the quality of the woofers and mids, but these dont come off, which Im willing to accept. The subwoofer is a 10 inch, piano finished beauty. It looks like a piece of art in the corner. I played the Bourne Ultimatium and the sound was absoultey superb. Everything sounded absolutely realistic and I was amazed that such small speakers could produce such good sound. Outside of movies, I played some mucic from my media player. I noticed that if you place the sub woofer in a part of the room which you are not near, the blend of the bass seamlessly fills the room. It is just fantastic.
Negtives: The first thing that stood out is that the sub woofer is open faced on the bottom, meaning that it is suseptible to damage. There is no grill underneath to protect it which I found a little shocking. Though I also think the shiny piano finish on the woofer is very nice, it can be easily scratched almost like the old black ipods. As for the surrounds, I actually dont have any complaints.
Overall for the $400 to purchase, these speakers just rock over my old Sony towers. I think having a Harman receiver and matching home theater speaker set goes a long way. This is a good purchase.

Using these with my Onkyo 705 reciever and Toshiba A35 HD-DVD player and the sound is fantastic. I also have the HK stands and purchased two additional surround speakers for 7.1 sound and its great with the Dolby Digital PLIIX setting on my reciever. The sub also puts out great bass. On: 2007-11-30
I have a more modern style living room with glass and chrome look. These speakers are well designed and look very nice in place. The sound is incredible paired with my HK AVR. The sub is little taller than I was expecting but it looks great with the piano black finish. On: 2007-11-15
After receiving the speakers, I noted that one of the satellite speakers was defective. I contacted Harman Kardon by email and found the correspondence with them to be very helpful. They replaced the defective speaker after I furnished them with proof of purchase from Amazon. This whole transaction took less than two weeks. After being self-employed for over 40 years I rate their customer service one of the best. I would highly recommend Harman Kardon for both quality of product and customer service. On: 2007-10-20
The speakers sound great with my HD DVD and Blu-ray players. Incredible bass. Consider setting up your A/V with front and surround speakers set to "large" - that works great with my Sony amp. The surround speakers look especially good when installed in a corner due to their triangular shape. I was a bit sceptical when I read that it came with its own mounting hardware (espcially since I already had universal mounting that I could use), but it was easy to install, and looks/works great. I also purchased the H/K stands for the front speakers, which also look great. All-in-all, this is quality through-and-through. On: 2007-06-25
We received the HKTS18 back on 5/10/07, as we were trying to mount the speakers to the wall we notice the brackets that were supposed to be included were not. I called Harman Kardon to get the missing brackets, they said to fax them the receipt and they would send them right out, which I did, still did not get them. I then called J&R Music, they were the actual sales store for the units on 6/12, they said they would get them and send them right out, its onw 6/25 and still no brackets!! So if you order these, check for missing parts first thing and if you dont have everything, send the entire system back, cause you can get parts! I did hook up the system, and it sounds ok, I just cant get the seperation I need without the speaker mounting brackets. Really poor service. On: 2007-03-15
I bought these speakers because I wanted to go a step forward in the experience of enjoying movies at home and replaced my old Sony home theater system. I also bought the Harman Kardon AVR245 receiver to match the speakers. The result is amazing. I use my mac mini as media center and have it connected to the AVR245 with an optical audio cable and the result is great. I fully recommend this product and if you can match it with an Harman Kardon receiver, then youll have an incredible sound for less than $1000. On: 2007-03-14
