This model works great on our Honda Ultra. Installed easily. So fun to have our tunes on bike rides. On: 2008-08-09
The motorcycle mirror mount doesnt have sufficient strength on the ball joint to keep the radio from constantly falling (not in place). On: 2008-07-03
This kit only allows for clamping on round tube handlebars and does not fit Honda Goldwings. After paying a healthy price for a "Universal" Mounting Kit, I find that I have to have parts machined to make it work.
This is NOT a "Universal" Mounting Kit. On: 2008-06-29
This is very much the same thing as the car mounting kit, witha few different parts tailored for a motorcycle. I dont have anything exceptional to say about it, but I have nothing bad either. It just doesnt work well with my BMW which doesnt have the standard steel tube handlebars. If you dont have these, or have large grips/brake reservoir, you may want a different solution. You could use this with some of the more generic accessory mounts, though. It does provide everything else you would need to wire it to your bike (the 12V - 5V converter is probably the best to have). The ~6" antenna is nice as well, as the car kit has a much longer one (~20ft) that would just result in a pile of wire someplace. On: 2008-06-27
This kit uses and older docking station that will not lock in most newer Sirius radios. The antenna also is not very good and gets very poor reception with many drop outs. I replaced it with a stanadrad sirius micro dot antenna and the reception improved greatly. I also swapped this docking station with the one in my car since i am not worried about the raiod flying off in my car. IMHO save your money and buy a sirius radio with car kit and then purchase an after market gadget mount to mount it on your bike. You will get a better docking station and antenna and the after market mounts are better than this. On: 2008-06-05
I mounted this item on my Softail Harley. I was easy. The kit is very complete. I put it to the test on a 900 mile ride and it worked great. I was a little worried about the bracket being out of plastic but it held fine. I like the fact that the kit also had rain covers for the radio. I would recommend it with no problems.

This product really isnt that bad!! Except when you ride under trees the signal goes in and out, but in a clear sky its fantastic. On: 2008-04-22
This product was easy to install and instructions were great. However the antenna reception I feel has poor quality. after several adjustments it still cuts in and out alot of the time aquiring a signal. The cradle that comes with the kit I understand is generic to work with many receivers but I have a Harley Davidson that shakes pretty good and I found it almost coming out of the cradle on several occasions so I have changed it out with the cradle I had in my truck because the locking mechanism did not lock to the receiver I have. Other than these 2 issues I think its a great kit for the price. On: 2007-07-05
Although the kit has plenty of extra parts to adapt to several motorcycle applications and was easy to install, the mount is weak. Ive been unable to tighten the mount enough to hold it into position and Im constantly facing the radio back up so I can see the display while riding. Im going to keep looking for something better
