Just got this camera today and took indoor photos (in poor lighting) for 2 hours. I love it. I have used digital cameras before but have not owned one until now. This was an upgrade from the Kodak Advantix camera I bought years ago (for the same price as the Canon) which only recently started giving my fuzzy pics. For as much I loved the film camera, this Canon is more amatuer friendly than I thought a digital camera would be. The digital cameras Ive tried in the past always took reddish fuzzy images in low-light and this one takes clear bright images. I have not used it in areas with outdoor daytime lighting yet so I cant comment. Generally I mostly take still shots since photography is not my area, but I was able to take tons of pics of my Jack Russell terriers and they were running all over the house. Not sure if this camera could cut it for action shots at a hockey game but Ill give it a try. This camera is small and lightweight, has a good size viewing screen and a good amount of options. I think its a great value for people who are buying a digital camera for the first time or anyone not wanting to make a big investment. The 1GB memory is essential because the camera only comes with 16MB which you will go through in minutes. All the products in the accessory kit are of decent quality in my opinion.

Outstanding price for so much. All included products are of quality. The camera works wonderfully. I highly recommend this kit.
