This unit is a great improvement on answering incoming Skype calls with a microphone and speakers or a headset. Call quality is as good as the Skype connection. Set-up is easy (following the directions). Out going calls are easy to make, keys allow dialing of the number or navigation of Skype contacts. Nothing fancy, just a simple way to pick-up or make a call. Although it is tied to the PC, Im very pleased with this device.

I just bought this phone after reading all the reviews regarding voip phones and Vista (turns out some have serious issues). So I decided to dip into the Skype pool by buying this phone. I previously bought a Skype earpiece but thought it was way overpriced after looking at Amazon. But I found this phone to be cheaper still. I was a bit afraid of the quality because the price was dirt cheap, however I was pleasantly suprised, as good as a regular land line. Just be aware that YOU MUST CONFIGURE YOUR SKYPE SETTINGS before this phone works. Do not reconfigure your audio on your computer settings if you already know that everyting is correct as it is (or quickly double check it). I made this mistake and had my computer and tv (my cable is hooked up to my compute) sound come out of the phone. I had to unistall the phone and reboot it in order to get sound back. I later went to Skype trouble shoot which walked me through the process go to tools, then options and then go to audio settings. Pick your USB phone as both speaker and microphone. Problem solved.
