This little speaker is awesome!! Not sure why its so hard to find. When I bought mine, I had to go to several different Circuit Citys and two Best Buys before I had any luck. Zune owners have been waiting for a product like this one. Sound is great, classic look, and it charges your Zune too. Has a removable adapter that allows you to use all Zune sizes. On: 2008-04-03
Ive had this sound dock in my office for a few weeks now. I absolutely love it. AM/FM reception is great, but my office is on an outside wall so I dont know how it would perform if I were in the middle of the building. Its pretty small so it doesnt take up too much desk space, and its muted looks really complement my office. Dont want it to draw too much attention since its in my office. My only complaint is that the volume is very touchy. Turning the volume knob the width of a hair either makes it too loud or too soft. Volume control is important to me since I have this in my office. You have to move the volume know in tiny increments to get it just right. That being said Ive never had a problem getting the volume just right, it just takes a little finesse to do so. On: 2007-12-01
I bought this unit based on my happy experience with the iPod iHome alarm clock unit I bought for a friend. That unit had good sound, alarm, and clock features for the price.
Few manufacturers make auxiliary products for the Zune; I was happy to see that iHome does. This unit is impressive with its sound capabilities. Bass is well represented as is mid-range, though treble is a bit lacking.
On the other hand, it was only $50 at Circuit City, and voice and podcasts are very clear and loud.
I think this unit is limited in production. I hope to find another one for my office.
Its a great product for the price. Unfortunately, the radio tuner isnt very sensitive, and I cant find my favorite NPR station even with the antenna.
