I bought this unit about a month ago. I have been to 5 states and used it often. I can tell you it does better than Tom Tom or Garmin. It recaculates your route MUCH faster than Tom Tom or Garmin.No doubt it has half the points of intrest not been a issue for me. I cant see that i need 6 million points of intrest. Its shows every gas station resturant even small mom and pop food,motels and car rentals & much much more. And at HALF the cost i couldnt be happier. Do your home work before you buy I have seen this unit sold from $149.00-$219.00. If traffic jams are a issue for you look for a bundle package. Navigon WILL charge you $99.00 for the traffic card. Many sellers (here) have the 2100 as a bundle for about $169.00 with the traffic card.Unlike Garmin its a one time purchase no monthly fees.
